1.Lionels is definitely the best place for dinner. It offers exquisite food, a warm and lovely atmosphere, and consistently great, attentive service. It’s one of the few restaurants with a pleasant outlook over Lake Taupo, making it ideal for a special evening.

2. 2 Mile Sailing Club — A very chill vibe. It’s a lovely place to sit on the edge of the lake with pizza and a beverage in hand, offering relaxed outdoor seating and pleasant views. Great for lunch or dinner and particularly enjoyable in the summer when the weather is warm and the atmosphere is lively.

I’ve had both a unicorn and a seahorse stenciled on my coffee! The food is also very good, with wholesome options that make it a great spot for breakfast or a relaxed lunch.
