The Farmers Rest is located on a scenic drive just 30 minutes from Taupō township. Many visitors enjoy a stop at Kinloch beach for an ice cream and or summer swim. The central district offers many outdoor activities ranging from local walk/hikes at the nearby Pureora Forest, Waikato River Trails, and the popular mountain bike Great Lake Trails.

Her husband Brett brings the rustic character of the retreat to life. With countless hours spent recycling timber and hand-crafting details, Brett has added the warm, rustic charm that makes this cabin feel both stylish and homely.
